Larry is the founding director of Voices of Gotham, having served in the position from the ensemble’s inception in 2008 until 2014, when he moved to Philadelphia to pursue career opportunities and grow his family. He returned in July 2018 in a new role as Artistic Director, where he has been tasked with building and expanding the musical leadership from within our talented ranks.
He currently sings tenor with 'Round Midnight, the 2006 New York Harmony Sweepstakes Champions, 2010 Mid-Atlantic District champions, and 2017 Barbershop Harmony Society international finalist. He previously sang tenor with the 2007 International Collegiate Quartet Champion, Road Trip. In addition to founding Voices of Gotham, he was instrumental in launching two other choruses -- the Sirens of Gotham (SAI) in 2011 and Rittenhouse Sound (BHS) in 2014.
In his professional life, Larry is Senior VP of Administration at the world-renowned Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Prior to this appointment, he was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at DataArts. His other past roles include Director of Finance and Operations at OPERA America and Operations Manager at the New York Youth Symphony.
He now lives in Philadelphia with his wife Coren and his two young children Baylee and Salem.
